It was already burning when I got here.

Baja Burning Bush
Loosely patterned after Burning Man, Baja Burning Bush was created in 2003 by three longtime Baja wind enthusiast gringos. The event is held each year in mid-January in the desert just behind the beach on the south side of Baha Sueos de La Ventana, just a few miles southeast of the small fishing village of La Ventana, Baja Sur, Mexico. Attracting locals from as far away as La Paz and Los Cabos, and windsurfing and kiteboarding foreigners from all over the world, Baja Burning Bush is an opportunity for friends and strangers to get together, take in the Baja vibe, show off their artistic and creative side, hear some great music, and, most importantly, to burn things. There is no admission fee for Baja Burning Bush. But donations are encouraged, with the proceeds going to the local communities of La Ventana, El Sargento, and San Jun de Los Planes.
